Giveaway: One Day Prize Pack

Earlier this year I read One Day by David Nicholls (Review here) - I enjoyed this story of romance and friendship so I was excited to hear that the book has been made into a movie by the same name.  The movie debuts in theatres in the US on August 19th and stars Anne Hathaway as Em and Jim Sturgess as Dex.  Here is a peek at the movie:

Through the generosity of Focus Features, I have a great giveaway to offer to 2 winners:

 Each prize pack includes:
  • Autographed copy of One Day (paperback movie tie-in version)
  • Clear cosmetic case
  • Necklace
  • One Day Moleskine journal
Just complete the form below to enter.  US Entrants Only
I will select winners on Wednesday, July 27 via random.org.  Good Luck!

  3. I loved this book - I'm now sort of afraid to see the movie, because I am afraid it won't live up to the book :)

  4. My British husband and I absolutely loved this novel. We read it last summer (best beach book!) and I reviewed it last December.

I'm looking forward to the movie even though I'm disappointed that they cast an American as Emma. When we saw a (different) trailer, our daughter didn't even realize that Hathaway was trying to do an English accent. There are so many talented English actresses out there, why cast a Hollywood movie star? Emma was meant to be beautiful on the inside, not on the outside. I do at least like Anne Hathaway as an actress, and it's a good sign that Nicholls is involved in the production. Thanks for sharing the clip.

I'm not entering the giveaway as we have the original cover which I prefer too. I wish they didn't do movie tie in covers but instead book tie in movie posters. Still, it's exciting when a good book becomes a movie.

  5. I really really liked the book and am anxious/scared of the movie. Thanks for the sneak peek. I think it is good that it was some time since I read the book ... I might be more accepting of the casting now that my memory of "my versions" have faded.

Great giveaway too ... I'm going to throw my hat in the ring just to see.
