Story Siren hosts In My Mailbox where book bloggers offer a peek into the books that arrived in their homes over the past week. Mailbox Monday hosted by Marcia at the Printed Page has the same objective. These memes are great in that they offer us a chance to see what others are reading- it's like candy for book addicts!
Here is what arrived in the mail this week:
The Lost Summer of Louisa May Alcott by Kelly O'Connor McNees- this ARC arrived for a reading series being hosted by Trish at Hey Lady, Whatcha Readin'? A group of twenty bloggers/readers will discuss the book via Trish's blog on April 16th. Little Women is one of my all time favorite books so I am really looking forward to this one!
A Field Guide to Burying Your Parents by Liza Palmer- this was a win from a contest at Laura's Reviews - thanks Laura!
An Irish Country Girl: A Novel (Irish Country Books) by Patrick Taylor - I love this series and was so excited to see that another book is out. I am spotlighting Irish books and authors between now and March 17th and hope to get this one finished in time to include it. (Purchased from Half.com)
What came into your mailbox this week? Have you read any of the ones I received?

ReplyDeleteThe Louis May Alcott book jumped out at me b/c Little Women was a seminal book for me growing up (and probably for most reading young women). Will have to check at the blog discussion.
